I’ve finally finished up my big video project for the new hunter song and somewhat hastily threw together the WHU Guild Pirate Day video, here for your viewing pleasure:
We use Savory Deviate Delight to turn half of the hunter into pirates, and the other half into ninja, and then we battled it out in Gurubashi Arena. We went three rounds, and the pirates won 2 out of 3 of the battles.
We then headed to Booty Bay to get the official Pirates Day costume, assaulted a pirate ship and partied for a while.
Reminder, the next WHU event (level 1-40) is Saturday, Oct 2nd, at 4pm server time. This isn’t a real WHU event in the sense that we organize and move out and kill something — instead we’re just going to hang out and party at Brewfest for an hour.

It was a lot of fun, and more importantly an old question was finally answered: Who is better, pirates or ninjas? (hint, not the ones wearing black pajamas).

As far as the ninjas go…their loss was unavoidable. The Inverse Ninja Law has been proven time and time again on the big screen…that a ninja’s capability scales inversely to the number of ninjas present. One ninja….suuuuper deadly, unstoppable. 100 ninjas…target practice for screaming, drunken pirate dwarves. I could have sworn that, the one fight that I was a ninja, my food buff’s tool-tip changed to “Too many ninjas…combat effectiveness reduced…”
Blizzard really needs to invent a day trip pass for us in the EU to pop over and join in the fun
I think us ninjas are used to working alone and any other excuses I can come up with. haha
