As a preamble here, I am once again blogging to you from the past. I’m headed back into the woods for more naturey goodness — more bugs, more getting rained on, more camp cooking and lazy spells laying by the river reading, or sitting in the river reading, and hopefully some more pictures.
I am hoping that in the mean time a new beta patch will hit that will fix all the focus cost bugs from the last build and let me actually get around to checking out the new rotations. Bonus points if they finally get BM working as well. I really want to do rotation videos for all the specs, but I can’t do so while the other specs aren’t working.
While we both wait for this (most of you in some office building whiling away the hours to freedom while I’m free in the north woods) here is a collection of random screenshots from the beta. Most of these are from Vashj’ir.

There are a couple different kinds of manta rays swipping around Vashj'ir. They are not tameable, alas.

Adorable snails that are, sadly, also not tameable. I totally want a snail pet. It might take a while to get to you, but when it does, you're dead!
I get this a lot... even in the beta.

Just as BRK has an in-game gun with his name on it in Wrath, I can totally see the devs giving you an in game BOW!

not frost, i know you have said before that you have not or found very little upgrades from your ICC gear but what about now? As a fellow Beta tester I have noticed that almost all of my gear has been replaced and I am a sliver away from 83. Also how about the hunter related bugs? I have noticed call stabled pet is bugged and also that our pet’s will not generate any frenzy stacks, I don’t know i it has been fixed in the latest beta build but are they fixed?

Can’t wait to see more photos, I live vicariously through others who go out and do whilst I sit in my cubicle answering tech support calls.
Oh, and I don’t play on your realm, but I do play on Stormrage, and every time I see femaledwarf log on I have to work hard not to be one of “those people” and whisper her saying hi… lol

See, at least you get proper adulation for your awesomeness. Me, I get snarky guildies who mock me by doing this. “OMG! It’s the famous hunter tank ARTHEMYSTIA! ZOMG this is epic!!!111!1!” …followed by lots of “wtf” comments from pugs and such in 25M’s or randoms. Once I had someone legitimately recognize me. It was a special day. Alas, never again.

Some bad news for you Frost, while you are getting in touch with your hippie tree hugging roots there will be a severe lack of pets in your stable when you get back. According to the blue posts via Darkbrew, hunters will have their pets wiped clean so as to fix a bug. Sure is a good thing you haven’t been going around taming all sorts of ‘frosty’ pets in preparation for the pet pass…

You’re on a nether ray mount under water…are flying mounts useable there, or is there some shennagins that make that particular mount a water mount that mean I should go finally finish that rep grind? Or is that just a fancy different model?

What? Pet wipe? Nooooooooooo! I chose the copy default hunter option, as it has all kinds of whacked gear AND comes with a spectral some thing as one of the preinstalled 4 pets. Dangit!!!!
I am DLing a Beta patch right now, it says it will make us able to patch and play at the same time. Its less a patch and more “uninstall the Beta and redownload the Beta”. Servers have been offline all day.

Thanks for the screens, underwater looks amazing, and tameable manta rays would be amazing. I’m just wondering how they would move/attack on land

Reinstalled and patched all day yesterday, just got home, and need to reinstall and repatch eeeevvveeerrrrryyyythiiiiiiing again. Youre not missing much Frost. Take a picture of a twig for us.

Yeppers, She posts on the official forums a fair amount. It was actually an interesting coincidence that my guild decided to move from Fizz(Fail)crank to Stormrage shortly after I made this connection, lol.
