Yes, there is a monkey skin in Cataclysm. No, it is not really a new pet. The monkey is part of the gorilla family, and I found a couple of them down in Stranglethorn Vale.

Love him!! I’m gonna tame one asap. And yes, he should totally have a poo throwing special. With all the poop related quests “sprinkled” through the game, it’s kind of disappointing that blizzard, in their poop obsessed ways, didn’t implement this.
Sorry to double post but in future videos can we see the new cataclysm pets in action?
Hey Frost – Have they started giving pets their new “raid buff” specials as opposed to their current “Furious Howl or die” specials that are in game? I would like to see which pets are going to provide which buffs. Not like I can tame anything new…two spirits beasts, my wolf, the no longer tamable ghost hydra and my ghost saber occupy my slots…
That’s a biiiiiiig monkey, fox is pretty beefy as well. Both should probably be in the Cunning family as well … have to see where they end up.

i was excited about getting a monkey pet but after seeing that the size of it is way bigger than i expected… meh
don’t know…… looks ugly…. so, for me, not worth taming it.
I just wanna know what “rare” pets are no more. So i can tame them before they are gone forever.
