Today from Frostheim over at WoW.com, a discussion of the sneaky sneaky Ghostcrawler quote buried over in the warrior forums, where he lets us know that they are considering dropping the hunter global cooldown to 1 second (instead of the current 1.5). Exciting!
Why hello there, tasty one-second global cooldown of scrumtiousness! This is of course not definite, not a promise and just something they are considering. But considering it they are, and if you were to put on your Frostheim Goggles and look into the future, you too would predict that a one-second hunter GCD will indeed come to pass…. Read More.

nice article, but as a sidenote if you haven“t heard of, wowhead.com is chatting with ghostcrawler, maybe there will be some hunter information too? who knows.

I must have missed the memo about focus. I’m in the dark about what it is. Is it something like mana, rage and runic power?
Dianth, focus is the current resource your pets uses, so i guess blizz thinks that we’re animals…XD personally i think it’ll be a really fun change, but we’ll see what happens.
Always get a good read from your articles, apparently dwarven wit isn’t dead after all.
I have only 1 question: Will cooldowns on shots be removed or not ?
If they are removing it then it will be chimera, steady, steady, chimera, steady steady, chimera, steady, steady…..
If cooldowns remain then I still need to wait for 9/10 seconds for aimed and chimera so I can get plenty of steady shots in between to get a lot of focus. Nothing will change ?
@Canardo, you answerred your question already. It will not or not completely …
Frost’s guess was no or little cooldown for aimed and arcane and a long/current on for CS/Explosive.
A small or no cooldown is also the first usuable improvement for PvP that hunters get. Other than that we’re still waiting for something that will unnerf us in PvP …
