Okay we now have episode 31 of the Hunting Party Podcast (from Saturday) ready for listening. I actually did the “editing” to this one, so any cussing that slipped through without a “bleep” is my fault. I am unofficially titling this one, “Waaa, Raiding Changes!”
As always, here is the iTunes store link, the Hunting Party Podcast feed, and the direct XML feed. If you email us comments or questions, we’ll read them on the next show. Like the podcast as usual But the outstanding thing that cracked me up was the add for bad players to come a roll a Death Knight that had me in tears of laughter loved the commemnts.
Our guild just downed LK on 25 last night, Players are still being carried on content of that level. On the otherhand one of our 10mans are on sindra 10man heroic.
We’ve had LK 10 down for weeks and ploughed through heroic mode up to sindra, so we should have had the Lich King down on 25 for quite some time.
Maybe the lack of stress on 10man alone would be enough encouragement to stop 25man.
Otherwise I think 25man will actually have to be easier than 10man, because picture trying to position yourself properly on deathbringer or bloodqueen 25 versus 10man, there is a huge difference.
Frost. You should edit these more. I love hearing you shout out “oh my fuckin’ god’ in the middle of em!
The whining portion was priceless.
As was the DK commercial. (Although playing a dk well is actually quite difficult).
What’s the theme song for the podcast? And where can I get it?
Elacius, Frost has said that he won’t be putting it up for sale or for download (because it uses a sample I think) but it is on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0l4T9kRlBE
Great podcast as usual, though I do have a bone to pick with Grandpappy Frostheim and his early onset Alzheimer’s.
The original 31-point survival talent was the most infamous ability in the history of vanilla! All hail the mighty Lacerate!!
Lacerate
Instant cast
95 Mana
Wounds the target, causing them to
bleed for 103 damage over 21 seconds.

Also, when this juggernaut was replaced by Wyvern Sting in 1.7, mouseover macros did not yet exist (added in 2.0.1). It was all manual lovin, baby!
…not that anyone actually specced survival beyond trap dancers.
This was a great podcast. The commercial was great but it was even better since it preceded the hunter asking for loot help. On that note, I say a hunter in a PuG group the other day that had healer cloth and rogue leathers, and a 2 handed strength axe. He said that he didn’t want to run out of mana and wanted his pet to “hit hard and not miss.” I vote kicked him and the reason was, “Dude, just look at the gear and you will know.”
