btw, is he still raiding BM or he considering switching to MM for super-BRK dps?
At the moment BRK has not reactivated his account — he’s just playing in the alpha. However, keep in mind that after the big BM nerf, BRK switched to SV because he felt it was his job to bring as much dps to raids as possible.
He has said that he won’t be raiding; however, we hold out hope that a summer of cataclysm beta will get him firmly hooked back into the game
This makes me very happy. I hope I can make it!

this is something i was wondering if you would discuss in an upcoming podcast. Ever since arth did his post about mastery from talent trees, i was wondering if you could maybe address how you think the mastery stat will play out in cata. Will it be an uber, ultra desirable (even better than agil perhaps) stat that could significantly raise our range dps, arp/crit dmg/haste, and pet dmg/double shot/elemental dmg? Or do you think the possibly 2 ap/less crit=1 agil will still be the hunter preffered (unless of course you are bm, where you use ap. But Blizzard has already stated that they hope to transfer more pet stats.) And maybe with mastery, mm hunters still could be approching around 60% arp+.
These are all very interesting and confusing topics that i definitly could not ask in a quick live feed question lol. But who knows? Maybe mastery (and all the other cataclysm changes) will tip the balance of mm>surv/bm!
Q for BRK – are you testing the same things on both sides? Or trying some stuff on Ally and others on Horde? (I know you can’t tell us what you are testing.) But can you tell us which pets you first tamed on your new alpha toons?
I feel like the luckiest, best looking (of course) and most edumufucated huntard out there right now! Getting to listen to that podcast live was about a million times better than sliced bread!
OK OK, I didn’t do any actual theorycrafting to arrive at that conclusion, but with some things in life, there is just certainty….
