Frostheim stayed up way, waaaay too late last night, shooting endlessly to try to confirm or deny something odd I found. It’s one of those things where the test results are just a bit outside the margin of error. Was it an annomolous sample set, or is something working differently in the game than we thought? Alas yet more testing to do.
Anyhow, over at WoW.com I spent a chunk of time going way, waaay back through all the old columns and putting together something of an index to most of the relevant columns, including a few gems that everyone should read for pure entertainment value (ie BRK).
So hop over and check it out and see if there’s anything sweet in those musty archives that you may have missed!

I know your stance on the “best possible dps spec”, but there is another issue at hand with that theory. Like most hunters out there, I do not have BiS for most of my slots. With that being said, i really enjoy playing SV more than MM. I would say I am at a point in progression that most are at…still working on Sindrigosa. Most people cant spend countless hours playing WOW, so i would say I am a casual raider/player. But lately it seems my spec gets no love from you. With your average ilvl gear at about 251…SV is still very comparative to MM, (unless u do some crazy itemization). Being that most people are at this level, i would really really appreciate if u could throw us SV hunters some love in the podcasts or articles as far as strategies or just some basic discussion. Thank you in advance and keep up the great great work.

Usually at a 251 gear level, MM will significantly outperform SV — but it is certainly harder to play. I try to give equal attention to all three specs on the site; however, the amount of time a given spec gets depends a lot on current hunter news. BM recently got lots of attention because they were constantly tweaking the BM spec.
So it really just depends on what’s going on in the community for who gets the most news. Of course I raid primarily as MM (with SV for beasts & putricide) so my raiding stories may be MM related as well… or just hrist related.
To bad most of the post is outdated. F.ex. all traps are still on the same cooldown on traps 101, or that traps are now visible. Kinda the same with most of the guides on this site, they date so far back you might as well scrap them.
