Happy New Year dues payers!
It’s been quite a year here at the WHU. I remember last year around this time MNK was still grinding its way through Naxx, having just cleared the construct quarter. We were all still raiding as BM. I had just finally reached exalted with the Sons of Hodir (and this was before you could even turn in relics of Ulduar for rep – daily grinded it the whole way) and there was no whiff of the piles of hunter nerfs on the horizon.
I also distinctly remember being very excited at the time that the WHU had reached the point that we were receiving over 1,000 visits per day. Way back then, that seemed like a lot 
I’m excited to see what is to come for the WHU this year!
At a New Years party last night I was talking to Mike, the guy who did the singing and sound engineering for the I’m a Hunter song. I was telling him about my idea for a new hunter song/video, and he volunteered to do all the music for it. However, he said he’s not going to be free until February at the earliest. So that’s something to look forward to! I think my mind has blocked out most of the pain of making the video and I’m ready to do another one now.

- More guides, more stories of Hrist and raids and shenanigans.
- More comics!
- A special secret announcement of awesomesauce.
- More in-game events like the Level 1 Hunter Raid
- The fall of the Lich King
- I will do my darndest to get into the Cataclysm beta, to be able to report whatever I’m allowed to you guys about the massive hunter changes. I don’t think they’re going to be as horrible as so many people fear.
- More podcasts! Live podcasts with live chat with you guys!
- More casual raid posts – I had been holding off on these as my own guild discussed similar issues so I didn’t seem like I was blogging about them. No matter what I say, some people in the guild always assume it’s a veiled reference to them. But, that is no longer an issue as I recently gquit
- More contests like the Hunter Demotivational Poster contest.
- More awesomesauce.

Happy new year Frost and all the guys behind the scenes and from the podcasts, think this is a perfect time to thank you guys for your help over the past year, i can honestly say, this site has not only made me a better player but i know my hunter better than ever, i also wouldlike to wish all you fellow hunters a happy new year also ( happy new year to everyone from WoW, we know you non hunters visit the site to see what the best class are up too
) . Here’s to 2010 and “The Fall of the Lich King” We are coming for you big man and you ARE gonna feel the “WRATH” of the Hunters

My personal goal for 2010 is to tank something in ICC. I have no idea what it’ll be right now….I hope the opportunity will present itself. I have other things planned, but that’s the end goal. So add that to the list of hoped-for additions to the WHU.
as i sit here, reading this post and proudly wearing a new WHU tee-shirt my family bought me for Christmas, I say “Bravo” on a website welldone! Looking forward to more helpful hints and hunter-humor in 2010

Im here to wish u all a happy new year as well. I dun follow this blog more than like 4 months or something but i love this here, i learned a lot about hunters and wow.

I have to go now and ask forgiveness of the Dwarven KIng in IF. I am using collection of twigs and string as a ranged weapon for the first time. It dropped in PoS and gives me a big dps boost ….but it does not go “BANG” and and it just does not feel right to using an elf weapon
I have to run more Ony and ToC pugs so I can get a new gun
Just have to say, this site has been nothing but a plethora of information, insight and awesomesauce. Frost, you have taken the art of huntering to a new level and I thank you for making me the hunter I am today. Without this website I’d probably still be a noob huntard. Really looking forward to what the new year will bring. Long live the WHU!

I can only repeat what everyone has said. I love this site. Anytime I tell my guild I am tabbed out, my GM always says its because I’m “getting my knowledge on.” I am just coming off of a guild first and one shot of Anub’arak, and although I did not have the highest dps, I did out damage the number one spot (a shadow priest) by about 90,000 (which yes does seem a little off to me, any help would be appreciated with that). But to get to my point, I think the knowledge I’ve gained from this sight has increased my dps exponentially. Words can not express my gratitude, especially as my grammar is terrible. Happy Hunting!
