Thought it might be interesting to show one of my science screenshots. For this test I needed over a thousand boss hits on my pet. Fortunately Garr in MC still counts as a 83 raid boss even though he hits softly. Took about 40 min to get 1k hits. And I needed to run 3 tests 
I assume this guy is a fan of the website. This is literally the entire conversation. I get a decent amount of requests to join my guild, but this one was pretty spectacular.
Look at all that totally useless currency. Been buying Crusader Orbs and AHing them lately to get rid of triumph emblems.

LoL, and I’ll take some of those “useless” Triumph emblems! I’m with ya (now) on the Crusader ones though.
And consider turning some of your Stone Keeper’s Shards into gems in Stormwind. That’s a nice chunk of gold.
Why 1k hits? That seems like overkill when the set of possible occurrences is so small and they’re all greater than 3% in probability.
You need to get a large number of hits to get accurate results — for example one of the things I was testing was chance to crit pet, which would normally be 1.6% on a tenacity pet with the crit reduction talent.
After 100 attacks, that’s just 1.6 crits — a tiny number that even a small fluctuation in chance would blow all out of proportion. With 1k hits, now we should have 16 crits — still a pretty small number, so I know that results anywhere from 12-20 are easily possible — but at least somewhat meaningful results.
Oh, okay, if you’re interested in the rarest occurrences rather than general descriptive stats then 1,000 makes sense. Were you testing to see what resilience does to the crit chance?
I was testing several defensive stat transfers, including the resilience cap.

I don’t know how I stumbled upon this website, but it seems pretty cool. I don’t know how on earth you can put so much time into a test of any sort. Gross. lol. Well, you blow my measly little hunter out of the water, it makes me feel pathetic. But maybe one day I’ll do decent Dps.
