So the patch 3.2.2 patch notes are up on the PTR. Nothing too dramatic for us hunters (though they say they will fix the T9 2-piece set bonus to work with mortal shots and expose weakness — don’t have the set yet, and I’m glad it’ll be working soon after I do!).
The best part of the patch notes was the achievements for the newly revamped Onyxia. Back in the day Onyxia was never that hard — but for groups hitting her for the first time without Molten Core gear, it was a big challenge and required coordination.
Someone made this animation of a recording of an unhappy raid leader in an Onyxia raid. It is hilarious and covers every classic moment of Onyxia: odd left, even right, watch out for the tail, slow dps at first, don’t stand by the tail or get knocked into the whelps, more dots! If you’ve ever done Ony back in the day, you’ve probably already seen this video. If not, watch it for true appreciation of WoW lore:

- Onyxia’s Lair
Defeat Onyxia - More Dots!
Defeat Onyxia in less than 5 minutes - Many Whelps! Handle It!
Cause 50 Onyxia Whelplings to hatch within 10 seconds of Onyxia’s liftoff, then defeat her. - She Deep Breaths More
Defeat Onyxia without anyone taking damage from a Deep Breath.
You gotta love Blizzard

Ohh man, gotta love it. I watched the clip like 50 times now… “Many whelps! Handle it!” could have a better name like, “Now, handle it!”, or “Moar dots” could have been a fun name instead of “More dots”… By the way:
