So friendly hunters, what’s in your pack?
I found that once I didn’t have to have a quiver, I could carry lots of other crap. But even whilst needing a quiver I carried a great deal of stuff. Only some of it trivial or useless.

Back in the day we had a hunter in our old guild we liked to call Supes. He carried more than that. He had hundreds of bandages, reagents of every sort (before they were on bots!), ammo, food, and booze.
Myrl’s carried what was affectionetly called Myrl’s Deli, he had nearly a dozen different kinds of meat for every situation.
We also carried extra ammo. For two reasons: because the quivers didn’t carry enough for a full ten hour raid, and because on some bosses warriors and rogues would go ranged. Inevitably one of the n00bs would have a ranged weapon but no ammo. We’d laff at them and then give them some ammo.

I’d have to log in to see, but I think I ditched all the tchotchke I had on Yori because all the various gear I haul around. I have my tanking set, my dps set, my arms dps set, my FL ilvl set (mostly the other gear but a few exclusives for this), FrR gear, food, potions, Finkle’s Skinner and probably something else I am forgetting. I probably should go through it all again, I think I have some stuff from a block set that I no longer use because I rarely tank anything that requires block anymore. Still I keep about a bag and 3/4 open for loot, which is pretty good I think
All I have to say is thank god pets and mounts are not inventory slots anymore.

Good god thats a lot of worthless crap lol. I kinda have OCD about keeping my bags as open as possible since im still leveling and want as much room as possible for loot. As of right now i have skinning knife, leather, food and drink, and various quest items that i need. I never saw the need for anything weird. One of my friends always carried around a Nightelves Head or Decapitated Nightelf or something like that. I always thought that was really weird lol.
God I wish I had a decapitated NE head. Or a Troll’s.

DAMN… I still carry my quiver for the feeling of having less than 20,000 mammoth cutters
bugs me. have one bag dedicated to food elixers flasks. pots, bandages. But saddest thing of all is i carry around my complete pet tank set. all 15 items of it. i know i should keep that in the bank. but i just cant let it go.

‘s cool Stout. I have my pet tanking gear, PvP gear, Frost resist gear (for Hodir) and ilvl gear (for FL) all in my Pack at all times. Not being ready for a situation would leave me completely upset. So I understand. Fortunately I have an OS bag and a bunch of Onyxia bags, so there’s still lots of room.
Not sure how you have 15 different items for a pet tanking set though. A lot of mine overlaps with my dps gear, with maybe 4-5 exceptions.
Epic uselessness btw, Arust. I’m in awe of your bag’s contents.
Currently I have 3 spots avalible :< I bring alot of proffesion mats, always some gems of every kind, ores, potions, spices, eternals, enchanting mats etc etc so I can always be ready for new gear that may drop in. Also PvP gear and normal food.
It “Severed Nightelf Head… My mage has one in his bank… I also have Onyxia’s head, Nefarion’s head, ossirian’s head, Hakkar’s heart, Big bad wolf’s head, wicked witches hat, bag bad wolf’s paw… still missing my eye of Cthun, will have to rectify that. these days i have a 22slot bag filled with consumables and jewellry and a bag containing spare gear(tank/dps/FrR/Ilvl/PvP) with 2 bags and my backpack empty, and yet i still run out of room filling it with rivendare loot whenever i force myself to return and kill him in the never ending torture of going for his mount. I suspect when it finally drops I’ll just forcibly insert it into …. anyway… much bag room.

My Dwarf mind reels at this. Why do you carry stuff you do not need ? Food for me and pet(s), 5 each of health and mana potions. A couple of haste potions and disease cures. MIning pick, skinning knife, hearthstone. A Tanuka breathing bladder (just in case for some reason i MUST enter the water). An Argent lance. There are always some bits of ore, leather, cloth and crystallized element that get gathered during dailies but these are deposited at the Bank of Ironforge daily. I always have at least 30 empty slots or I feel weird.
On the other extreme is my ammo pouch. It;s the biggest I could find (28 slot) the first two rows are full of Frostbite bullets for questing and the remaining rows are full of Mammoth Cutters. I get paranoid if I fall below 20,000 rounds. A dwarf can NEVER have too much ammo

my bags, oh boy… i have a lot of stuff, but i do keep things together. i have, in no particular order:
a bunch of premade cooking daily foods and mats, frostweave bandages, spices (northern and baby), 7 underbelly elixir, red and blue mountain dew (i MEAN runic potions), spiced mammoth treats, fish feasts and stacks of the mat fish, blackened dragonfin, honeymint tea, sparkling frostcap, blackjelly, elixir water walking so i can show death knights they arent THAT special when fishing for the ghost fish in the middle of rivers heart, bandits insignia, rune of cruelty, moll-e, haunted memento, my off set parachute cloak, zapthrottle mote extractor, scrapbots, army knife, 3 different types of ammo, and various mats i need to bank.
up until recently, i also had my simian monkey sphere, wind up train wrecker >:), red and blue battle fuel, horseman’s blade, orb of deception, dog whistle, and my crashin thrashing controller.

The oddities I have in my Pack include:
Titanium seal (to make decisions with)
Razorsharp Ice Shards (last weapon skill I need to level)
The rest is health food, food with buffs, pet food, mana tea, bandages, and elixirs.

Have to carry the Frenzyheart Brew, Iron Boot Flask, and Baby spice (what fun is a raid without). Oh and you cant forget the red and blue battle-bot fuel also same reason.

I load up on ammo, ammo, and more ammo…luckily my bro is an engineer and keeps me stocked with cases of it. Goblin utility knife, 20 bandages, 10 mana & health pots, pet food, misc buff food, and some elixers (my other bro is alchemist). I usually have at least 40 open slots ne that (YAY!) no more ammo bag/quiver is required. Oh yeah…my buddies alt is tailor so all 20 slot bags plus I bought the 22 slot bag from that hot skank in the Shatt bar.
I keep plenty of room for crappy loot (it all sells) from running Strat for the 50th time in pursuit of the baron mount.
