So I’m sure many of you have noticed the ads that appear over on the right-hand side of the site. Arust and I decided to toss those onto the site for no particular reason back in January. Every time someone clicks on one, we make like two cents or something. I’m not sure how the math actually works.
Anyhow, the point is that Arust and I don’t need the money. We both have jobs, and the amount generated from those ads is insignificant. Sure, we could use the money to pay for the site, but frankly that cost is also pretty insignificant. So back in January we decided that if we ever crossed a hundred bucks from ad revenue we’d have a WHU sponsored BBQ with the cash.
Well, we crossed a hundred long ago; however, the weather up here doesn’t really cooperate for that kind of thing until at least mid-May, so we’ve been holding out. But hey, that just means we can buy even more beer.

I would like to officially invite all of you to the Warcraft Hunters Union BBQ on this Memorial day, Monday May 25th, starting at 1pm. We’ll be having the BBQ at Arust’s pad in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I know that vast, vast, vast majority of our readers are completely unable to travel to our frozen northland for the BBQ, and for that I am sorry. However most of you probably live someplace far warmer, so fair’s fair.
However, both Arust and I hope very much to be able to meet some of you at the WHU BBQ!

That’s awesome that you guys are in Minnesota! However, as a Minnesotan living in Denmark for the time being, I cannot attend. If you have another such even this fall though, count me in, and I’ll chill with a bottle or two of Grain Belt.
