So it’s another holiday in WoW — the valentines day event is upon us. What that means for me is that everywhere I go in Dalaran, people are showering me with rose petals.
You might think it would make me feel special. After all I got the showered with affection buff. But that’s not affection, that’s crunching your way through quests for no apparent purpose, or maybe to get an empty achievement. I don’t feel special getting showered with petals every five minutes. There’s no affection there. No personal attention, no caring. I mean I never even got a tell, or a /hug, or the simple courtesy of a reach-around.
Too much affection makes for a sad dwarf.
