So Arust and I spent last weekend in Iowa, at Gamicon Sigma. While there we got to hang out with some distant guildmates, drink, and play games.
Two interesting and newsworthy items came out of the trip.
First of all, we heard the phrase – new to us – “Man Pretty.” Despite hearing it in various contexts several times during the weekend, we still aren’t exactly certain what qualifies as “man pretty” and what doesn’t. But as you know the WHU is all about science, so we’ll be doing some investigating and will post our findings.
Secondly, we were invited to another convention in Iowa in October, this time to attend representing the WHU to give Hunter and general Warcraft panels. Perhaps we’ll have a panel about specs, hunter pets, and even a live walk-through of a ten-man raid (which would be Uldar by then, we’re guessing). We like the idea of having panels, and finally getting to meet many of our awesome readers in person. Our only reservation would be how many people would actually go to a con just to see us in person?
And would it help if we were man pretty?
Well, I wouldn’t travel huge distances to see you guys, but thats because I see your ugly mugs more often then is plesant. Seriously, Frost after the 4 day bender that was WotLK launch over at the WoW-apalusa was something that gives me nightmares to this day. /shiver
Arust might be man pretty… You are not. (though I’m go out on a limb and say neither of you are in person, go figure)

I am from Missouri and such things as “Man Prett y” down here would get you shot lol …We have a saying about those Iowegins it is actually an acronym Idiots out wandering around …Be afraid bros be very afraid…Yeah some comments as to different WOW gatherings around the country would be nice….Have fun Just kidding people from Iowa Love the place…
