I just want to wish a happy new year to all of the hunters out there who have paid their dues. It ain’t easy being a hunter sometimes, despite common perception to the contrary. But we work to always improve our skills and better understand the mechanics of our class to maximize our contribution to groups and raids — even with the shadow of the nerf bat hanging over our heads.
New Years is a time for resolutions, so here are some WHU resolutions:
- This year I will devote more attention to MM and Suvival hunters, though I still don’t understand why anyone would roll a survival hunter under the current talent structure
- I will suck it up and retame all of the ferocity pets (plus the wind serpent) and re-measure their dps, but not until after the changes in patch 3.0.8.
- I will finally write the guides on growl and how threat and aggro work
- I will finally hunt down some screen capture software and start making the WHU movies and movie guides
That’s all I’ve got for now, though I will be quite happy with myself if I get them all done (and well I should).
I hope 2009 is a fantastic year for all of you!
