So just in case anyone is having problems with the Sons of Hodir daily quest Feeding Arngrim, (available at revered Sons of Hodir rep) I thought I’d give you some help.
Because if you’re having trouble, you’re probably mostly alone. Unless the rare warlock or death knight is having problems too (but I haven’t heard of them having these problems). Feeding Angrim is pretty much just bugged for us hunters.
The Feeding Angrim quest involves you throwing an icicle at a worm, tagging it, and then killing it down to a weakened state. Then the giant Angrim walks up and eats it.
If you do this and don’t get credit, put your pet on passive and repeat it. It turns out that hunters get the shaft on this one. If your pet attacks at all, you won’t get credit for the quest. Your pet must not be on the aggro list. Dismiss it, or leave it on passive hanging out next to you.
Your pets get a break from this one. You’re on your own.
Note: This is pre-patch 3.0.8 and it may get fixed. Just don’t bet your Spiced Mammoth Treats.
