Loot Train

So today I find myself hating most of my guildmates. You see, our guild is scattered across the country, and in fact across the globe. We have lots of guild members in California, Texas, and a whole pack of ‘em in Australia.

But I’m in Minnesota, where the temp this morning was -12. So yeah, I hate them.

But! This weekend saw some fantastic 25-man raiding, and loot falling like rain. We finally had some real friendly hunter drops, and I think all of our hunters got a couple pieces of loot. I, however, managed to acquire my 25th Emblem of Heroism and my 25th Emblem of Valor. I cashed both in to pick up the Pendant of the Outcast Hero and the Ring of Invincibility.

Over the course of two days of raiding we dropped Archavon, Sartharion, cleared Naxx Plauge Quarter, Arachnid Quarter, DK Quarter, and just about all of the Construct Quarter. Thaddius proved to be our undoing at 2am (which for the Aussies was noon in november, since they’re a month and some hours behind us). We just couldn’t muster the clear thought to handle the encounter (well, I could, once I learned what direction clockwise was) but I’m sure we’ll take him down next time.

The point though, is that’s a lot of bosses, and a lot of loot. I picked up the Strong-Handed Ring, Slime Stream Bands, and, best of all, the Valorous Cryptstalker Spaulders. At long last, I have big spiky shoulders again! /cheer
