Housecleaning

I started cleaning house yesterday in preparation for Wrath. In a stunning display of keen multi-tasking ability, I also mocked elves in /guild channel while doing so.

Quests in log? Zero!

Got the mats ready to make 10 repair bots the second WotLK goes live.

Emptied bag and bank slots moderately ruthlessly. Vendored a ton of stuff, including about 66% of my resist gear. I do have almost a full bank bag of “sentimental” gear that I really should get rid of, does me no good, but I just can’t. This includes my Black Dragonscale set and my T2 gear. Ah, happy days when I was a less cynical dwarf.

I moved a bunch of gems, cloth, and primals over to a banker alt for storage. I decided against AHing them mainly ’cause the AH prices are so, so low right now. I predict that within a few weeks they’ll be higher than ever. That’s what happened when BC came out — suddenly the supply for lvl 60 mats was lower, and everyone had five times as much money, so the prices went crazy. Here’s hoping.

I did a couple battlegrounds, but I’m still only at 70k honor. If I really want to hit the honor cap I gotta get my ass in gear and fast.

I stalled out, however, on my armor. I figure I don’t need pvp and raid gear for leveling. I just need to pick one and get rid of the other. Only I can’t decide which set to keep. Both have advantages:

PVP Gear

• I solo in this gear currently, partially ’cause I’m a bit less likely to pull aggro from the pet
• I get 1k extra mana
• I get 3k extra health

Raid Gear

• More dps, more dps, more dps
• If I’m really comparing gear against lvl 70 gear, shouldn’t I compare it against the best 70 gear?
• I wanna instance as much as possible for leveling, so instance gear makes sense

So… yeah. Still no decision. But I really need to clear out those bag slots!
